She is especially drawn to the transformational potential of these tools when used responsibly in a supportive therapeutic setting. Her approach to care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion. She prioritizes building trusting therapeutic relationships and integrating evidence-based and holistic strategies to support patients in achieving lasting mental wellness.

Originally from Tulsa, Melissa recently returned to her hometown after several years of practice in Austin, Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and learning about other cultures, walking in nature, appreciating the arts, practicing yoga, cooking nutritious meals, and enjoying archery.
