Scott Fisher, MHA, CEO
Scott Fisher is CEO and co-founder of Tulsa Family Psychiatry & Wellness, Inc. He brings well over a decade of diverse experience including work in the areas of academic medical center clinical laboratory, FQHC, and private specialty practices including functional, internal medicine, orthopedics, and pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Prior to entering the world of healthcare, he studied graphic design and worked for a San Diego based internet startup during the late dot-com era. Before leaving the tech world, he jointly developed a SaaS (software as a service) based HRIS (Human Resources Information System) product to help companies manage day-to-day employee life-cycle management challenges.
After leaving the tech sector, Scott continued his studies at the University of California Riverside and California State University San Bernardino where he earned an undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology and a minor in cell biology. In the fall of 2019 he completed a M.S. in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration at Oklahoma State University – Center for Health Sciences.
At the core of Scott’s work lies a passion for catalyzing change in organizations to bring about positive and sustainable financial, clinical, and cultural transformations.
He formerly served on the board of directors as President of the Eastern Oklahoma chapter of OKMGMA and served as President-Elect of the Oklahoma State MGMA Chapter in 2021.
In his free time, he enjoys cycling, concrete design, woodworking, puns, and cooking. He and his wife share a son and daughter, and at last count 4 dogs.
